Baked risotto with bacon, chicken and peas

Baked risotto seemed like a good idea for dinner after a day of quilting, needed something that was just popped into the oven, I found that after the 30mins cooking time in the oven the rice was barely starting to soften, added the peas as directed and popped it back into the oven for another 20mins instead of the 10 as per the recipe. Big Mistake, the risotto was overcooked with barely any fluid. I only did a serving for 2 and halved all the ingredients including the stock so that may also have had a bearing on it, the flavour was wonderful but the texture was sticky, not up the Darlings path at all. Will wait until he is traveling and try the dish again with a little tweaking.
